A Journey Through Four States and Eight Years of Photography

Hello! I am Hilary Webb, the photographer behind the camera at Hilary Webb Photography. When my children were born, I was captivated by their newborn photography sessions. I bought myself a DSLR and shot on auto for a few years. I loved being able to capture my precious babies as they grew, but I knew I wanted to get more out of my images. I eventually took an in-person class to learn how to use my camera, and I was able to take my images to a whole new level. In 2017, while living in Indiana, I decided to take a leap of faith and officially opened my business: Hilary Webb Photography. Since then, I have photographed countless families, newborns, expecting mothers, children, and graduating seniors as my family has moved from state to state. My home studio has moved from a basement in Indiana to a spare bedroom in Oklahoma, and then a front room in Illinois, and finally my current location in the Sioux City area. I am so excited to bring experience and creativity as your newest Sioux City photographer.

My Home Studio and Outdoor Options

My studio is located in my home in Jefferson, SD, just minutes from both Iowa and Nebraska. It is fully stocked with numerous backdrops that can be used for families, seniors, children, and maternity. I also have an extensive collection of newborn outfits, wraps, and props, as well as maternity gowns, fabrics, and bodysuits.

The studio is perfect for newborn sessions! I do most maternity sessions in my studio as well, although some people prefer to do outdoor maternity sessions. Children, seniors, and families can be photographed in my studio or outdoors.

Becoming Part of the Sioux City Community

My family relocated to the Sioux City community about a year and a half ago when my husband started his job as an accounting professor at USD. I have been working full time as a middle school math teacher at a virtual school, so my photography business has been a bit slow to get off the ground here. But I miss capturing treasured moments for families, so I am ready to get back at it! Please reach out if you want to discuss booking a photography session.
